Bar Harbor Sunset Adventure: Flying High

There’s nothing quite like a sunset flight over Bar Harbor, and experiencing it in a rented Cessna 180 was unforgettable. The vibrant hues of the setting sun disappearing into the distant horizon created a magical scene. Flying this plane was an incredible experience, but what made it even more thrilling was switching things up and taking the controls from the right seat in a Cessna 182. During the flight, we soared past five lighthouses, countless islands that seemed to stretch endlessly, and the breathtaking beauty of Acadia National Park. Every moment in the sky felt surreal, and it’s safe to say this was a flight to remember!

Exploring Alaska from Above: Sunrise Flight Adventure

Flying again has been an absolute thrill! There’s nothing quite like the freedom and exhilaration of soaring over Alaska’s breathtaking landscapes. Recently, I had the chance to embark on a magical sunrise flight that took me over some incredible locations, including Knik Glacier, Lake George, Eklutna Lake, and the stunning Chugach Mountains. The views were beyond words, with the golden glow of the morning light casting a surreal beauty over the icy glaciers and pristine waters. Unfortunately, we couldn’t land on the glacier this time due to some fresh snow making conditions less than ideal, but it didn’t take away from the awe-inspiring experience. This flight has reignited my passion for adventure, and I can’t wait to do more. Here are a few snapshots from this unforgettable journey—nature’s masterpiece at its finest!
